Bacardi are planning a UK artist mentor programme which will see up and coming talent fostered by the likes of Friendly Fires, Joe Goddard and Mylo. Each artist will be given a bursary of £10,000 to develop an artist of their choice via studio time and collaboration.
Jessie Ware is the first artist to be inducted into the programme, she’ll enjoy the mentorship of Joe Goddard. Considering she is already on the ascent and two singles into an album campaign, we can’t help but wonder if fresher, less established artists out there would be benefit that bit more from such an initiative.
