IN THE NEWS: HERTZ AND LIVE NATION STRIKE US DEAL

Hertz and Live Nation have forged a long term marketing deal that will bring the vehicle hire company closer to live music in the US. The deal will involve artist partnerships, a redemption based music store (to be launched in 2012), a streaming service for broadcast at Hertz facilities and VIP parking at venues for Hertz customers.

The two parties announced the deal in NYC this week where US “soul-pop” band Fitz & The Tantrums (the first act to become involved in the partnership) performed. Read more here.
