John Lewis is to capitalise on the traction of its recent Christmas campaigns by releasing the songs featured amongst other cover versions. 2010 saw Ellie Goulding re-record Elton John’s “Your Song” for the retailer and of course this year Slow Moving Millie turned in her version of The Smiths’ “Please Let me Get What I Want”. Save The Children will benefit from £2 of every album sold.
