IN THE NEWS: MALIBU RECRUITS NE-YO FOR NEW TEQUILLA VARIANT

Malibu has joined forces with Ne-Yo, who’ll assist the rum brand in becoming an ‘all year round choice’ for drinkers the world over. Enlisting his services as Creative Director has provided Malibu with promotional assets to launch a new tequilla flavoured variant, hitting the shelves in 2012 (the marketing of which will prove to be one of the biggest pushes in company history). Ne-Yo reportedly played a role in the product’s development and in turn the brand will support his forthcoming tour.
